For customers with many direct push print queues, provide the ability for end-users to get one or a few default printers by an admin, but then provide users the ability to easily choose their own favorite queues, out of all of those they have access to.
My Printers section gives users access to a general follow-me queue and a common printer for their department and then let the user access an interface to choose any other printers they want to print to.

Input ports

New option “Available by default” “When available by default, this port will appear for users with access, on workstation PC’s, mobile Apps etc” is added on Input ports page. This option is enabled by default and it can be changed by the user.

Left nav

In the left nav is added a new item called “My Printers” which appears only if ViewUserInputPorts permission is available.

My Printers page

If the user selects from the left nav, “My Printers” option all available input ports is displayed in an expandable/collapsible tree based on the object tree structure (containers etc etc) with the first level expanded. In the tree view a checkbox appears next to each input port. If the input port has the option “Available by default” enabled it appears selected and grey out, otherwise the state is based on the user selection. The selections are saved by pressing he “Save changes” button which appears both in top and bottom of page (in case of a long page). The user has the possibility to expand all or collapse tree view items using the top buttons: “Expand all” and “Collapse all”.
