It is possible for the user to generate a unique short ID which can be used for authentication from the embedded terminal.
There are two ways to generate a short ID:
1. Use Generate button under My Profile screen, this option requires EditMyProfile and GenerateShortID permissions
2. Using a trigger to do it automatically, for example when the first print job is sent to the server.
When SAFEQ Cloud server is bootstrapped there is a sample inactive trigger created which performs short ID generation. It must be activated by the administrator in order to be operational.
