Short IDs

Short IDs can be used as one of the authentication methods at SAFEQ Cloud embedded terminals.
The ways to generate a Short ID:

  • You can generate/view an Short ID code yourself
  • Administrators can set up an email with Short ID to be sent to users automatically.

To generate a Short ID yourself:

  1. Log in to SAFEQ Cloud Web UI.
  2. Click My Profile. Be aware that you must have the EditMyProfile and GenerateShortID permissions. 
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Click Generate.
