Configuring your secondary gateway

Before you begin, you must configure your secondary gateway. See Secondary Gateway mapping.

MFD preparation

1. Log in as administrator and change the admin password.
2. Verify that your MFD has proper DNS configured, so that when the MFD connects to berlin.acme.com, it can resolve that DNS record to the correct IP.
   

   

After the Printer is restarted, push the Embedded configuration from the embedded screen in SAFEQ Cloud. Remember PID/VID if Cardreader is used.

Lock/Unlock third-party applications

You can lock/unlock other third-party applications like Autostore when using SAFEQ Cloud embedded client for compatible HP devices.
While setting up Embedded Configuration in the SAFEQ Cloud Web UI, select Everything in Locked features section.
