PC Client

KM IWS Gen2 Cloud Terminal (v2025.01.01)


  • (tick)Copy accounting is done via Service platform authentication app. Native copy accounting is also supported.
  • (tick)IWS Cloud terminal terminal gets the information about ISPF integration (Service platform authentication application is installed) from server and avoid asking for ISPF token when not integrated.
  • (tick)Logout button is hidden when integrated with Service platform. Hardware button must be used to log out. This avoids login user back right after pressing logout, which is a limitation of the integration.
  • (warning)Quick copy action on IT6 machines no longer triggers the "separate scans" native dialog.

PC Client

  • (info) MacOS users can now specify paperSize, duplex and color when installing the PC Client in unattended mode (HCP-13908).
  • (warning) User no longer gets logged out unexpectedly when the cloud connection is not established fast enough (HBT-5048).
  • (warning) When PC client cannot operate with the existing token it will drop it and re-register itself (HBT-5031).
  • (warning) "Domains" field of the "Customer information" is no longer case sensitive and does not cause problems when authorizing clients (HBT-5041).


Sharp Gen 2 Cloud Terminal - Production release 

  • (tick) A user can select a destination folder at the Sharp terminal (HCP-13605).


UI improvements

  • (info) An administrator can send a test email using the inherited mail configuration (HCP-13855).

Xerox Gen 2 Cloud Terminal

Kyocera Embeded Terminal

  • (info) Users no longer see internal login "user1" when logged into the terminal. Instead, it shows "Kyocera" so it is less misleading (HBT-4243).

  • (info) The OCR engine was updated to the latest ABBYY FRE 12.6 (HCP-13399).


Various performance and security enhancements
