Release Notes Build 109

Fixes and Improvements

Client V3

Client now starts reliably on PCs with non-ASCII hostnames. (SBT-5195)

Client now handles token‐refresh failures gracefully, only clearing the token when it’s truly invalid—so users won’t be forced to re-login for transient network or timeout issues. (SBT-5199)

Client parsing of DHCP Option 9 response has been improved to work with DHCP relays and paddings in the response (SBT-5213)

Installation and Administration

Job Service no longer crashes when you configure SAML_SSO for webAuthenticationMethod. (SBT-5074)

Database queries now execute significantly faster, which results in quicker response times and no more SQL performance bottlenecks. (SBT-5170)

Printing

You can now apply staple overrides on multipage jobs sent via the HP Universal Printing PCL 6 driver. Selecting a stapling option on the terminal always staples your printouts, even if the driver didn’t specify stapling. (SBT-5148)

Security Mitigation and Enhancements

PostgreSQL has been updated to version 16.9 to address CVE-2025-4207, eliminating the security vulnerability in earlier database versions. (SBT-5182)

Management now uses Bootstrap v5, removing the legacy code that triggered false-positive CVE-2024-6531 alerts. (SBT-5108)

Apache Tomcat 9.0.106 is now used, patching CVE-2025-46701 as well as additional vulnerabilities (CVE-2025-49125, CVE-2025-49124, CVE-2025-48988, CVE-2025-48976). (SBT-5203)

Product extensions (or customizations)
