Terminals, User Interfaces
When card-swipe data from an HID card reader arrived out of order, the terminal service discarded all previously received keystrokes instead of tolerating the gap, which could cause an intermittent card-read failure on high-performance embedded terminal hardware. Out-of-order card-swipe data is now buffered and reassembled correctly. (SBT-5544)
Installation and Administration
The queue used to process incoming user-synchronization requests toward spooler controllers had no size limit and no deduplication, so repeated or automated sync triggers could accumulate duplicate pending entries for the same spooler controller and consume memory unnecessarily. The queue now deduplicates by spooler controller so only one pending entry is kept per spooler controller. (SBT-5553)
The Format dropdown when scheduling an automatic Management Report was empty, preventing administrators from selecting an export format. The dropdown now correctly lists the available formats. (SBT-5435)
Documentation covering how to enable post-quantum key exchange algorithms has been added. (SQC-8801)
Printing
The HP Color LaserJet Managed E47528 has been added to the list of supported devices. (SQC-8788)
Checking offline printers for the emergency print feature sent a lookup request to every Job Service and Spooler Controller, once for each connected user, every 30 minutes — causing load that increased significantly in large clustered environments. Lookups are now cached briefly so repeated checks no longer repeat the full round-trip for users already resolved. (SBT-5501)
Payment System
When the end-user interface and the payment system were served on different public hostnames, the browser could be redirected to a payment-gateway return URL on the wrong host after a successful electronic payment, resulting in a page-not-found error. The payment was still booked correctly by a periodic verification job, but the user did not see an immediate confirmation. The return URL is now built correctly for split-host deployments. (SBT-5550)
