Summary

Understanding how user group associations work ensures accurate reporting and access control. It also helps administrators align transactions with the defined user-groups in SAFEQ Cloud.

How It Works

When a transaction occurs the system checks the user’s identity provider - local or external - to retrieve their current group memberships.

Each transaction is then recorded against all groups the user belongs to at that exact moment.

For example:

If a user belongs to both the Finance and Operations groups, the print transaction will be reflected in reports for both groups.

Key Takeaway

Each transaction is linked to all of the user’s active groups at the time of the action — ensuring full visibility across all groups the member belongs to.
