How to Connect destinations with SAFEQ Cloud

What's This All About?

Want to scan documents straight to your OneDrive, SharePoint or Google Drive? Perfect! Setting this up with SAFEQ Cloud is a straightforward two-step process that'll have you scanning documents in no time.

Before We Start

Make sure you have:

  • A SAFEQ Cloud account

  • The accounts for the destination of the scans

  • An admin who's ready to help with Step 1

The Setup Happens in Two Steps

Step 1: Admin Setup

(This only happens once for the whole organization!)

For Admins: Here's what you need to do:

🏢 Access the Admin Panel
Head to your SAFEQ Cloud admin panel and navigate to Scanning / Workflows. Look for the workflow you created earlier.

🔗 Authorize the Connection
Click the authorization link - this will take you to login page.

🔐 Sign In
Use your admin credentials. Make sure you have the right permissions (Global Admin or Application Admin works great in Microsoft).

Grant Permissions
Review what SAFEQ Cloud wants to access and hit Accept. You're giving SAFEQ Cloud permission to work with your organization's storage space.

🎉 All Done!
You'll see a success message and get redirected back to SAFEQ Cloud. These destinations are now available for all your users!

Step 2: Individual User Setup

(Each person needs to do this once for their personal account)

For Users: Time to connect your personal storage:

🚪 Log Into Your User Portal
Sign in with your credentials to access your personal SAFEQ Cloud space.

🧭 Find Your Profile Settings
Navigate to PersonalMy ProfileAuthorizations

🔗 Connect OneDrive
Click the respective links, which will take you to Microsoft. Log in with your personal Microsoft 365 account.

🤝 Complete the Link
Grant the permissions, and your SAFEQ Cloud profile will connect with your accounts. You're all set!

What Happens Next?

Once both steps are complete, you can:

  • Scan documents directly to your OneDrive, SharePoint or Google Drive

  • Enjoy all your favorite SAFEQ Cloud features with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.

Troubleshooting

Admin Issues (Step 1):

  • Access Denied? Double-check you're using admin credentials

  • Timed Out? Simply start over - it happens!

User Issues (Step 2):

  • Can't Find Authorizations? Make sure you logged in with Entra ID or Google Workspace, and your admin has given you access to the respective scan workflows.

  • Link Won't Work? Check that you have a valid license

Security Notes

  • Your admin grants SAFEQ Cloud permission to work with your organization's storage destinations

  • Each user controls their own personal connection

  • Everything follows Microsoft's / Google’s security standards

Remember: Admins complete Step 1 once for everyone, then each user does Step 2 to connect their personal storage.
