Setting Up Location Aware Printing

Never hunt for the right printer again! Location Aware Printing automatically shows you only the printers available in your current location.

Step 1: Create Your Locations 🏢

First, let's tell the system where your offices are located:

1. Go to Settings → Locations

2. Click Add New Location

3. Give your location a friendly name (like "New York Office" or "London HQ")

4. Choose how to identify this location using one of these options:

• Gateway IPv4

  • Use your office's main internet gateway address

• Subnet IPv4

  • Define your office network range

• IPv4 Range

  • Set a specific range using "from" and "to" addresses

• WiFi Network Name (SSID)

  • Use your office WiFi name (super easy!)

Step 2: Link Printers to Locations 🖨️📍

Now let's connect your printers to the right locations:

1. Go to Printers → Print Queues

2. Select the printer you want to set up

3. Under Default Location, choose the location you just created

4. Save your changes ✅
